Marlette and the Team

The experience Marlette has gained climbing these mountains has prepared her physically, mentally and emotionally to climb the highest mountain in the world.

She has climbed with team mates Wilmien vd Merwe, Tony Badenhorst and Andrew Barnes on Aconcagua and Denali before. Climbing together has taught the team to work together and trust one another under the most challenging circumstances humans could ever face.  The bond they have forged as a team stands them in good stead to Climb Everest. Part of the team is also Rob Bentley – Logistics Manager, Pierre Jonker – Base Camp Support, Nico Oosthuizen – Climber

The Team is being led by Sean Wisedale, the first African to climb the 7 Summits, and professional mountaineer.

Sean has led Marlette on Elbrus, Aconcagua and Denali and climbed with the whole Everest team, knowing each one’s strengths and weaknesses.
